OUR NEW PROJECT
Very soon we are going to get affiliated to CBSE board, New Delhi and take students from Class Nursery to Class X. We are about to start our huge new project on 87120 square feet of land at Barothol only 1 K.M. away from our existing School. It is going to be one and only institution in Asansol with all latest amenities and innovative ideas. We will have facilities like Big & airy Class rooms, Hostel, Play Ground, Swimming Pool, Basket Ball court, Badminton Court, Children’s Park, Open air Class room, Assembly ground, Indoor auditorium, Sick Room, Doctor, Nurse, Psychologist, SPL. Class for the Autistic Children, School buses, Canteen e.t.c.

SAHANA DUTTA (Head Mistress)
Miss. Sahana Dutta holds the office of the Head Mistress. Being an acclaimed educationist of national repute, a caring benefactor and an able captain, she has been successfully steering the M.T.C.A. ship and exploring all possibilities to spread education far and wide. Education to her, is not confined to text books to make the student simply a crammer but it possesses a wider scope to bring out one‘s inner talents to good exposure and develop the skills and courage to stand up for oneself against all future eventualities. Starting his career as an humble teacher, she has endeavored to bring enlightenment and awakening to the society through high quality activity blended education for students. No child according to her, is academically ignorable. Potentiality for growth is hidden in one and all. It is the teacher in the institution of learning, who can bring the hidden treasure to a full bloom. Never in life should a teacher experience failure, in transforming a not so intelligent child into an intellect incarnate. Due to his able guidance, the area of education has witnessed the advent of renaissance and the M.T.C.A has aptly become the school with a difference.

About Mother Teresa Children's Academy
It is the best school in Asansol because it has a Play School, Nursery School, Primary School and an Upper Primary School in it. All the teachers are highly educated. We maintain 10:1 teachers – students ratio, which can only be seen in MTCA, Burnpur. As the motto of our founder was to do good for the society so we never run behind money, a huge number poor students are getting educated here as well as getting different types help from the School society. Orphans are getting totally free education and with every educational requirements.
The lucky students of our old batches got flourished and presently studying in different Engineering , Medical and other famous institutions of India. We are the only who take care of the handicapped and autistic children. The result of their improvement is almost 80%. We give special advantages to the students of SC/ST of remote villages like Gutgut Para, Talkuri, Barothol, Punjabi Danga, Ghuska Para, Bhalukjor e.t.c.
